  • Sussex County Skylands Cycling Club participates in the third annual Bicycling Magazine's Fall Classic.




On Oct. 6, members of Sussex County's Skylands Cycling club descended on Trexlertown, Pa. for Bicycling Magazine's Fall Classic. The third annual event was attended by more than 1,100 cyclists of all ages and abilities.

Skylands Cycling was the largest club in attendance and their riders were accompanied at the event by cycling notables such as Peter Flax, Bicycling Magazine's editor-in-chief and 17-time Tour De France professional cyclist George Hincapie.

Skylands Cycling is based out of Sussex County and offers programs and rides for all styles of riding such as road cycling, mountain biking, racing and recreation riding. The club also participates in a variety of charitable organizations such as Pass It Along, Go Green Bike Tour, Bike MS, Police Unity Tour and the Force Ride to benefit cancer research.
