The NY/NJ Super Bowl Committee stopped at the Heaven Hill Farm Pumpkin Festival to promote the upcoming Super Bowl on Monday, Oct. 14.

Vernon was just one of the many stops the “Huddle Shuttle” will make as a part of the “Join the Huddle” tour. This is the very first mobile tour associated with the Super Bowl and will continue throughout the football season. The tour will be making 48 stops through the tri-state area.

The tour will conclude with an extended stay on “Super Bowl Boulevard,” an event on Broadway in Manhattan, from Wednesday, Jan. 29 through Saturday, Feb. 1.

Before entering the “Huddle Shuttle,” fans can pose with life-size New York Giants and New York Jets football players.

Fans registered with their phone number or email and received a sweatband with a microchip in it. This allowed all of the photos, videos and stats the fans gathered throughout the various stations to be sent to them via social media.

Fans walked through a replica stadium locker room with various football memorabilia, including the famous Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The outside stations were all hands-on and included something for everyone. Fitness and agility tests as well as field goal kicking competitions were available to the public. In addition, fans were invited to create their own “Touchdown Dance,” where they could record their own moves to the music. This made them eligible to win a PC Richards and Son gift card.

In “You Make the Call,” fans watched a video screen of football plays and got involved by making the proper referee calls.
