— The Lake Mohawk Country Club will offer its third annual “Tasting On the Boardwalk” on Sunday, May 18 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The general public is invited to attend and enjoy the day which will be filled with food and fun.

The LMCC House Committee will host the Tasting that will be supported by many local businesses. There will be thirteen restaurants from the area participating in the event by the Lake and they will provide everything from sliders to cupcakes. Restaurants will offer samplings and interesting choices of tasty food with all items priced at $3 and under

There will be a DJ, a silent auction for restaurant gift certificates and donations, and the first show of the season by the New Jersey Champion Lake Mohawk Ski Hawks. The event will take place rain or shine and, in case of inclement weather, the Tasting will be moved inside the clubhouse.

Tickets are available at the LMCC office for pre-sale during normal office hours and will be available on the boardwalk the day of the event.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for children under twelve.

Proceeds from the Tasting will sponsor a $1,000 scholarship to further the education of one of the employees of the participating restaurants.

The balance of the proceeds will be donated to LMCC’s fund for “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” and the Members Club Room.
