— Sparta Books is hosting for the third summer in a row the Where’s Waldo in Sparta, New Jersey? Scavenger Hunt.

Sparta Books has teamed up with 25 local businesses to help with the hunt, which takes place the entire month of July.

The event is a fun way to promote the "Shop Local" message and bolster a shared sense of community in Sparta, an event news release states.

The participating businesses will have a Waldo sticker in the front window of their store and a small Waldo standee located inside their store. When you spot Waldo, get your passport stamped from the store employee and check it off your list. When you collect 10 different stamps, bring them to Sparta Books to claim a prize. When you collect all 25 stamps bring them to Sparta Books to be entered in a drawing for a deluxe set of Waldo books and other prizes.

Sparta Books will host a grand celebration for all participants on Wednesday, July 30, at 5 p.m.

The registration fee is $5, which includes a Where's Waldo mini book, Where’s Waldo button, Where’s Waldo postcard and the Scavenger Hunt List and Passport.

Program supplies will be available for pick up starting June 27.

To pre-register stop in or call the store at 973-729-6200.

You can also register on the Sparta Books website at http://www.spartabooks.com/.
