— Pass It Along is offering several volunteer programs throughout the summer months for community members looking for service opportunities.

The programs include gardening at the Sunset Vista Charity Garden and the Hardyston Charity Garden, being a buddy to Newark youth at Tilly’s Kids, acting out against interpersonal violence at PIA Players Socio Drama Program, preserving the natural environment at The Nature Conservancy, assisting adults with developmental disabilities at SCARC Softball, planning PIA's annual Youth Conference at the Youth Conference Planning Committee, and participating in our new Northern Hills Academy Afterschool Program. Volunteers are needed for all of the aforementioned programs.

Check their monthly calendar at www.passitalong.org for a full listing of all the summer programs and to sign-up.

Pass It Along is a nonprofit organization serving the northern New Jersey counties of Sussex, Morris, Essex, and Warren. Since its inception in 2001, Pass It Along has been committed to helping teenagers become confident, resilient and compassionate through self-discovery, volunteerism and leadership.
