Kristin L. Stetzel, of Sparta, was named to the spring semester dean’s list at The Pennsylvania State University.

Stetzel, a graduate of Sparta High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in biobehavioral health and was recently inducted into Phi Mu Sorority, Beta Mu Chapter.

Robert Weinschenk, a 2006 graduate of Sparta High School and a 2010 graduate of Cornell University, graduated Wake Forest School of Medicine on May 19 earning a Medical Doctorate degree.

Dr. Robert Carl Weinschenk M.D. will continue his career in medicine in Texas as he begins a five year residency program in orthopedic surgery.

Thompson R. Daniels, son of Rick and Karen Daniels of Sparta, graduated from Penn State University's main campus on May 10.

Thompson graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, and was named to the Dean's List for the Spring Semester. Dean's List requires a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Cassandra Gregoli, of Sparta, graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry. More than 330 graduates received diplomas at Albright College's 155 Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 25.

Gregoli now joins the more than 20,000 alumni of Albright College.

Joseph A. Lynch graduated with honors from Syracuse University on May 11 with a degree in Supply Chain/Finance. He will be working as a consultant with IBM in New York City.

Lynch is a graduate of the class of 2000 from Sparta High School.

Wilkes University welcomed Bianca Cocozziello, of Sparta, to the Class of 2018.

Cocozziello is one of 565 incoming students comprising the 81 freshmen class in University history. Cocozziello will study criminology.

Prior to the commencement of fall classes, Cocozziello attended a summer orientation session July 13-14.

MCPHS University announced that Suji Choe has been named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2014 semester.

Choe, of Sparta, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Psychology. Choe will graduate from the Boston, Massachusetts campus.

The Dean's List recognizes those students with a full-time course load who have achieved outstanding scholarship with a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic term.

Madeline Giordano, of Sparta, member of the class of 2017, has been named to the Marist College Dean's List for the spring 2014 semester.

Meghan Vreeland has been named to Siena College's President's List for the Spring 2014 Semester. Vreeland is a history major from Sparta.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student's grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89. The President's List requires a 3.9 grade point average or higher.

The following Lafayette College students were named to the Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the spring 2014 semester. Each student achieved at least a 3.60 semester grade point average on a 4 scale.

Melissa Epstein, of Sparta, a graduate of Sparta High School, and Jessica Ross, of Sparta also a graduate of Sparta High School.
