— As part of their ongoing commitment to help the needy of our area, the St. Kateri Columbian Squires Circle #5177 from Sparta recently delivered over $500 of canned and dry food items to the Sparta Food Pantry. The proceeds were raised from the 7th annual Luminary night. Squire project leaders Paul McFadden and Sebastian Gomez led a team of Squires that delivered the food items and met Deb Harkness, a staff member of the Sparta Food Pantry who gave a brief overview on the scope of the operation in helping families in need.
