— Madison High School (Morris County, N.J.) defeated Sparta-Jefferson United in varsity ice hockey on Saturday, January 6, 2018. The final score was 5-2. The game was played at Skylands Ice World in Stockholm, New Jersey.

Dave Renzulli scored two goals for Madison. Jett Tom scored a goal and made one assist. Ryan Bagley and Aidan Niceberg each scored one goal for Madison.

Goalkeeper Matt Ubertaccio made 12 saves for Madison.

C.J. Leonardo and Matthew Redding each scored one goal for Sparta-Jefferson United.

Goalkeeper Logan Hanek made 28 saves for Sparta-Jefferson United.

Team records: Madison Dodgers 11-2. Sparta-Jefferson United 4-5.
