Cinco de Mayo fundraiser

Sparta — Celebrate Cinco de Mayo Eve with Sparta Friends and Neighbors at their 7th Annual Spring Fundraiser on Friday, May 4, 2018, 6 to 10 p.m. The event will take place at the Sparta Ambulance Building, 14 Sparta Avenue, Sparta, New Jersey. Tickets are $35. Included with your ticket is a dinner buffet catered by Riviera Maya—authentic Mexican dishes as well as non-spicy, vegetarian and American choices—mock margaritas and sangrias along with a dessert prepared by Homer’s Restaurant. Participate in the evening’s entertainment and games. All proceeds from the event will benefit local charities nominated by the general membership. The charities that have been selected this year are Ginnie’s House Children’s Advocacy Center of Sussex County and Sojihuggles Children’s Foundation which provides underprivileged children with the basic necessities of life.
Sparta Friends and Neighbors is a social organization which serves to welcome new members to the community, as well as provide opportunities for women to learn about the great activities the area has to offer. The group holds monthly meetings, social events, and philanthropic activities.
