— The Chinkchewunksa Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will be holding an annual open house event "Christmas in July" on July 13, 14 and 15 (Friday-Sunday) from 11 am to 4 pm each day at the DAR Van Bunschooten Museum, 1097 Route 23 in Wantage.

Schedule for the event:

Friday, July 13, 10:30 am - Opening ceremony featuring the Sussex County Sheriff's Honor Guard

Saturday, July 14 - Civil War Re-enactors, Colonial Re-enactor, Lost Art Lacers

Sunday, July 15 - Civil War Re-enactors, and Santa Claus will be there for free pictures at noon

Every day at the museum — Complimentary tour of the historic home of Rev. Elias Van Bunschooten and the buildings given by docents in colonial costumes, Attic Treasurers Sale, Quilt Barn Sale, Food and Bake Sale, Historic Re-enactors.
