Pity the Route 15 commuter

It should be obvious to anyone who is familiar with the daily bottleneck that is the two lane stretch of Route 15 that a development the size of the North Village project isn't just inadvisable — it's down right mind boggling. To even think that the impact on this already congested road will be minimal is to engage in magical thinking. What's the thought process? It seems to be "we'll build it and when the screaming starts the state will ride to the rescue and widen the road."
Apparently the promise of new ratables causes common sense to run for the exits. Pity those who must use Route 15 to commute to and from their jobs. Delays? They ain't seen nothin' yet!
