Ryan R. Laddey was recently sworn in as an attorney by Thomas N. Ryan, Managing Partner of Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP, the firm that Laddey’s late father, Brian M. Laddey, co-founded with Mr. Ryan in 1989.
In addition to founding Laddey, Clark & Ryan, Brian Laddey is a former Sussex County Prosecutor, Sparta Township attorney and President of the Sussex County Bar Association. During his career, he was widely recognized as one of New Jersey’s leading trial attorneys and as a distinguished member of the State Bar. Laddey passed away in 2007.
Ryan Laddey is an Associate in the Tort & Product Liability practice of 800-lawyer Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP in its New York City office. A graduate of Rutgers University School of Law, he received a B.A. from Union College and an M.A. in Environmental Studies from Montclair State University.
Laddey continues a family tradition of service focusing his career on the practice of law. He chose his father’s law firm – and his father’s partner – for his swearing in. At the ceremony, he was also joined by his father’s former partner, Andrew Fraser, and he was surrounded by his family, including his wife, Ashima; his two children; his mother, Margaret B. Laddey, of Sparta; his brother, sister-in-law and other family members.
