Kittatinny Rangers carry on do-si-do tradition for fun, exercise

Members of the Kittatinny Rangers, the last surviving Western square dance club in Sussex County, got together in January for their holiday part at the Farmstead County Club in Andover.
The caller for the annual event was Sharon Trimble.
There were as many as 20 such clubs just a decade ago, according to club president Ron Kornmiller.
Dances are held on the second and fourth Fridays of the month at the Florence M. Burd School in Andover. The school is located on Newton-Sparta Road.
The club offers classes at the Halsted Street School in Newton starting in September each year.
