Newton - On Dec. 14-16, Drama Geek Studios and Sussex County Community College present the holiday classic “A Christmas Carol-A Ghost Story of Christmas.” This theatrical and spirited version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL puts Charles Dickens' classic tale center stage. A chorus of ghosts weave through this uplifting holiday story of redemption, magic and hope. Producer, technical director and company co-founder, Josh Reed, commented on this production choice: “This classic tale of hope, forgiveness and magic hits home for all involved and all who will come to see it. The holiday season is a time of year where we all act a little nicer, we cheer a little more, and we smile a little easier. For a couple of weeks out of the whole year we are the people we always hoped we would be. This show definitely has that magic.”

Company co-founder and producer, Vicky Reed stated, “We’ve been extremely fortunate in the high caliber of talent that we’ve been able to attract to participate in Drama Geek shows. I’m extremely proud of what our community members have been able to accomplish and bring to the SCCC stage. Overall, we’ve been able to bring some extraordinary live theatre to Sussex County.”

“A Christmas Carol-A Ghost Story of Christmas” will be presented at the Sussex County Community College Performing Arts Center on Dec. 14-16. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m. and Sunday performances are at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors and students under 18. For a $5.00 discount on tickets, reserve or purchase in advance by visiting dramageekstudios.com or calling 973-512-8251.
