Fly fishing lessons at Sparta VFW

    Northern New Jersey Trout Unlimited (NJJTU) will teach fly fishing knots at 7-9 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2019 at the Sparta VFW #7248, which is located at 66 Main St. in Sparta Township. They'll teach more than 21 different fly patters including dry, nymphs, streamers, wets, attractors, salmon and steelhead flies. Beginner students need not have or bring tools. They'll be supplied. Intermediate students must bring their own tools and some materials. Students ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.     The Fred S. Burroughs, North Jersey Chapter of Trout Unlimited (NJTU) is made up of 500 volunteer members who actively organize and implement education and conservation programs throughout northwest New Jersey. We participate and operate the following programs:

    -Fly Fishing Instruction Upcoming Culvert Repairs on the Flatbrook's Tributaries.
    -Monthly Meetings with Speakers Stream Clean Ups.
