Sparta — Hudson Catholic Regional High School (Jersey City, N.J.) defeated Sussex County Technical School in varsity football on Saturday September 15, 2018. The final score was 39-14. The game took place at Sussex County Technical School in Sparta.
Quarterback Johnathan Bates threw for 207 yards and two touchdowns for Hudson Catholic. Wide receivers Donnell Adams and Amarrie Bolden each caught one touchdown pass.
Running back Isaiah Decias rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Hasan Dominick achieved two rushing touchdowns.
Freshman Sussex Tech quarterback Aiden Smith threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to Joseph Martinez and Ryan Kinkead, respectively.
