SCCC inducts 97 into psychology honor society

NEWTON — Sussex County Community College inducted 97 students into Psi Beta, the community college National Honor Society for Psychology in early April, the largest group in the College’s history. Associate Professor of Psychology, Melanie Arpaio, stated in her welcoming remarks, “Psi Beta’s missions is to promote professional development of psychology students in two-year colleges through promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research, and community service.”
In order to be eligible for induction into SCCC’s Psi Beta Chapter students must maintain a 3.25 GPA in their psychology courses. The new inductees are:
