Local students achieve at university levels

The following students from Sparta have recently made honor rolls or receive diplomas.
Students from the area earning a grade point average of 3.3 to 3.79 appear on SUNY Oswego's spring 2017 Deans' List. They include:
Jill C. Dempsey of Sparta, a senior majoring in adolescence education; and
Emily E. Fisher of Sparta, a sophomore majoring in public relations
The following students from Sparta graduated from Binghamton University, State University of New York, this academic year:
Stefanie Louise Assaro, Bachelor of Science, Bus Admin Finance
Brian Michael Hopkins, Bachelor of Science, Accounting
David Chiariello of Sparta graduated from this year from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in illustration.
