Camera Club holds first meeting of the Fall season on Sept. 11
SPARTA. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Sparta Ambulance Building, for the Sparta Camera Club's first meeting of the season on Sept. 11.
Photographers are always looking for interesting places to photograph and New Jersey has many. Those interesting places are the topic of the Sparta Camera Club's first meeting of the season.
Speaker David Blinder is a photographer and conservationist whose work focuses on visiting and photographing New Jersey parks. David is a real estate and nature photographer from Morris County New Jersey.
His volunteer positions include serving as a board member of the Protect Our Wetlands Water and Woods conservation group in Denville, and as Land Steward to the Troy Meadows nature preserve in Parsippany. Dave's exhibit, "Landscapes of New Jersey," spans all 21 counties of the Garden State. Following the presentation, Sparta Camera Club members can submit up to 3 photos each, taken at their favorite photograph sites in New Jersey. Members will discuss why the site is their favorite and how it fits into their photographic style. The group will discuss the submitted work.
Photos may be submitted on http://www.photocontestpro.com/. Following the meeting, they will compile a list of best places for photography in New Jersey and post it on the Sparta Camera Club's web site, http://spartacamearclub.org .
