Expo XXX V winner is 'Dogwood' by Joy Schmitz

The Sparta Camara Club's EXPO XXXV overall winner was selected on Wednesday, Nov. 6. A stunning black and white photo of Dogwoods by Joy Schmitz was selected as the best in show from 263 entries. The judges Paul, Michael Kane, Eduard Moldovenanu, and Jordan Basem praised the detail and translucent quality of the work.

The photos from the competition are being display at the Shoppes at 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday Nov 17 at the Shoppes at Lafayette. Critiques of photographic works are offered by Paul Michael Kane at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday Nov. 16 from 1-3 and Clarke Warren at 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday Nov.17. Many of the works are for sale.
