"I love you Broadway," at Halsted School in Newton

    A Music Revue, "Once upon a time, there was an idea for a Broadway music revue...." And thus begins the tale of a production put together pairing Broadway classics with more modern classics you may not know you love yet! Drama Geek Studios has put together a Broadway music revue spanning the age of the TONY Awards with such classics as Memory from CATS, I Could Have Danced All Night from My Fair Lady to modern classics such as One Day More from Les Miserables to Wait For Me from Hadestown. This show lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes with intermission, is family friendly, fun for all ages, and an event you do not want to miss!

    I Love You Broadway is directed by Joshua Reed, produced by Drama Geek Studios, and will be performed the weekend of Sept. 20, 21, & 22, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. with a 3 p.m. Sunday matinee.

    Tickets can be pre-ordered by going to ILOVEYOUBROADWAY.BPT.ME or by calling 973-512-8251. Tickets are $15 for senior citizens 65 years and older, students age 17 and younger and $20 for adults.

    This production is a fund-raising event for a local family in need.

    A portion of the proceeds will be given to the family. There are no free tickets to any of these performances. All performances will take place at Halsted Middle School, 59 Halsted Street, Newton, NJ.

    This production features heartwarming, comical, and iconic songs spanning the age of the TONY Awards. The cast includes a very large group of actors and performers from throughout Sussex County. The production team of I Love You Broadway includes musical director Maestro Scott Tomlin, stage manager Olivia Tomlin, sound engineer Melissa Marshall and lighting operator Brian Von Koenig.
