Congratulations to readers who knew where to find the detail in last week's clue.

Edward Maske of Sparta writes: "Statue of Union Soldier from Civil War in front of cemetery on Main Street."

Go to the head of the class! Others who nailed the answer are Michael Jaretsky, Sarah Thonus, and Luke Johnston, all of Sparta.

The inscription on the statue reads: "Erected by James B. Titman, Lieut. and R.O.M. of 27th and 33d Regiments New Jersey Volunteers, War of 1861-65, in memory of all the brave heroes who served on land and sea in defense of their country in any of the wars of the United States."

Thank you for playing along.
