Jacobson to wed Stallings

SPARTA — Drs. Louis Jacobson and Catherine McHugh are delighted to announce the engagement and wedding of their son, Matthew Jacobson, to Emily Stallings of Burnsville, NC.
Matthew was a 2007 graduate of Sparta High School and a 2011 graduate of Duke University. He is currently employed as a Software Engineer with Apple in Cupertino, CA. Emily Stallings is the daughter of John and Melanie Stallings of Burnsville, NC. Emily graduated from Elon University in 2010 and completed graduate training at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC in Hospital Administration. She is currently employed at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, CA serving as the Assistant to the Chief of Medicine.
A late September, 2017 wedding in planned in Wolf Laurel, North Carolina. The couple will reside in Santa Clara, California.
