Mrs. Dorothy Macaulay of Port Jervis, N.Y., died Friday, March 19, 2021, at Campbell Hall Health Care Facility. She was 91.

She was born Dec. 15, 1929, in Lodi, N.J., the daughter of the late Joseph Licamara and the late Nellie Skiba Licamara.

Dorothy was married to Patrick Macaulay prior to his passing on Dec. 12, 1994.

Dorothy worked for Willcare in Middletown, N.Y., for many years as a respite care provider, and at 83 years old was given the honor of being Employee of the Year.

A family statement read: “Dorothy treasured time with her family, especially with the youngest of her great-grandchildren; she would sit at the table for hours coloring and sharing stories with them. She loved to read and spend time outside with her pets. Dorothy also enjoyed traveling and would go down to visit her siblings in Georgia and Florida often.

Surviving are her sons, Thomas J. Lisa and his wife, Joann, of Vernon, N.J., Joseph L. Lisa of Port Jervis, N.Y., and David Lisa and his wife, Deborah, of Fairlawn, N.J.; siblings, Agnes Meyer and her husband, Robert, of Braselton, Ga., and Joseph Licamara and his wife, Anne, of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was predeceased by her darling sons, James and Robert Lisa. She is also predeceased by Thomas L. Lisa, her former husband and the father of her children as well as, her loving brothers Robert Licamara, and Anthony Licamara.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, Pa.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Gray-Parker Funeral Home in Port Jervis, N.Y.
