Florence D. Quigley (Becker) of Wantage, N.J., passed in peace at home on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020, in the loving presence of her son, Mark, and his fiancé, Jessica. She was 96.

Florence was born on Oct. 1, 1923, in West New York, N.J., to Leonard and Helen Becker. She was one of five children. Florence worked as a registered nurse for the American Arabian Oil Company in Saudi Arabia.

Florence was a devoted and loving mother and wife.

Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Hugh, in 2013, they were blessed to begin their partnership of life on Dec. 23, 1955, by their marriage ceremony in Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Besides spending time with family and friends, Florence had a passion for travel, playing and watching tennis, solving puzzles, and reading.

Florence is survived by her children, Mark, Barbara, David and Valerie; along with six grandchildren and four nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends will be invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering in the near future.
