Giorgia Di Martino of Wantage, N.J., peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was 88.
Born in Caccamo, Italy, to the late Nicasio and Rosalia (Badame) Baratta, Mrs. Di Martino came to the United Sates in 1971 and settled in the Bronx, where she lived until moving to Sussex County in 1998.
Mrs. Di Martino was predeceased by her husband, Filippo Di Martino, on June 9, 1990.
She is survived by her son, Vincenzo S. Di Martino and his wife, Francesca, of Ogdensburg, N.J.; daughter, Josephine M. Sangiovanni of Wantage; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on July 7 at the Pinkel Funeral Home, Sussex, N.J., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Monica Roman Catholic Church, Sussex. Entombment on July 8 at St. Raymond Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Ave., Bronx, N.Y.
