Sharon A. Miller

Sharon A. Miller, 55, of Newton passed away Friday. August 13, 2021 following medical complications over the last few years. Born in Newark, she grew up in Sparta and had lived in Andover Twp. for many years before moving to Newton in 2018.

A graduate of the Sparta High School class of 1984, Sharon went on to graduate from the Wilford Beauty Academy. She enjoyed a long career as a School Bus Driver with First Student of Andover, NJ. With an impeccable safety record, Sharon was one of the students and parent’s favorite drivers. Sharon was truly loved by everyone she met. With a passion for gardening, she definitely had a green thumb. Sharon also enjoyed spending time with her family, pets and her many friends.

Ms. Miller was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Mary Thompson. She is survived in life by her daughter Sara Sevek and her fiancé Brian Elflein of Newton, her sons Zachary Sevek and Matthew Miller both of Newton, her parents William and Shirley (nee Thompson) Miller of Hackettstown, her fiancé Joseph Mugavero of Belvidere as well as her brother William and his wife Kimberly Miller of Beach Lake, PA.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Monday August 23, 2021 from 6 to 7:30 PM with Memorial Services being held at 7:30 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860. Online condolences through www.iliff-ruggierofuneralhome.com
