Dog of the Week: Allie and Athena

Meet Allie and Athena from Eleventh Hour Rescue. They are Shepherd mix sisters who have been together their whole lives; and they need a hero. Allie and Athena were recently returned to Eleventh Hour after being in a home for 7 years.

Their owner moved out of the country and could not take them. They are scared and confused after losing their home and family and cannot understand why they are at the kennel. Several volunteers have taken them under their wings, but they need a foster or permanent home to live in together. Allie and Athena are incredibly bonded and love spending time together. They might be 8 years old, but they still enjoy playing with their toys, and with each other.

Allie and Athena walk nicely on a leash during pack walks and are non-reactive to other dogs.
