Local attorneys recognized

SPARTA — Super Lawyers Magazine has recognized the partners at Fraser Cerra LLC Attorneys at Law for inclusion in its “Super Lawyers Top Lawyers” and “Super Lawyers Rising Stars” lists for 2018.
The magazine bases its selection criteria on peer recognition via nominations received, in addition to the magazine’s independent research of the professional achievements of each nominated attorney. The list is generated once annually after a selection process of only five percent of the nominated lawyers is made, with New Jersey Monthly Magazine concurrently publishing the lists.
Lauren D. Fraser, Esq. has been recognized annually as a Super Lawyer and Super Lawyer Rising Star for Personal Injury Law since 2008. She has received national recognition from the National Trial Lawyers Association as one of the Top 100 Trial Attorneys in New Jersey. She is a Trustee for the New Jersey State Bar Association. Fraser is also Past President of the Sussex County Bar Association and served as an Executive Officer from 2010 through 2016. She is a member and faculty member of both the New Jersey Association of Justice and American Association of Justice and is a frequent national lecturer on trial preparation and presentation. Prior to forming Fraser Cerra LLC Attorneys at Law with Cerra, Fraser was a partner at Laddey, Clark & Ryan LLP and manager of their Personal Injury Practice Group.

Partner Janine M. Cerra, Esq. has attained her listing as a NJ Super Lawyer for the first time this year as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. She is a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). In 2016, Cerra was honored with the Charles A. Hollenbeck Award from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism for defending her clients’ Constitutional Rights. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association in the Criminal Law Section and the Women in the Profession Section (WIPS). She currently serves as an Executive Officer of the Sussex County Bar Association as President Elect. Prior to entering private practice in 2017, Cerra served as a Public Defender in Sussex and Morris Counties. With Fraser Cerra, LLC, she practices Criminal Defense Law, Real Estate Law, Immigration Law and Land Use Law.
