CHARACTERISTICS

Roland was surrendered when his owners decided they did not want a dog anymore. He has not adapted well to the changes in his young life and will guard his home, his person and his food so he will not “lose” them again.

Roland needs someone who is an experienced, strong handler who is willing to work with him to overcome his anxieties. He does seem to form bonds with women faster than men.

A quieter home with low traffic and no children would suit him best.

Roland has so much potential to be a wonderful pet in the right home.
