Mrs. Lasso is named Kittatinny’s Educational Services Professional of the Year

Newton. Mrs. Katie Lasso was named Kittatinny’s Educational Services Professional of the Year. She has been serving as the school’s junior high school counselor for five years. Mrs. Lasso is no stranger to awards. Last year, she was named Sussex County’s School Counselor of the Year. “Mrs. Lasso is an outstanding counselor who always has the best interest of her students in mind with everything that she does,” said Principal Brian Bosworth. “She is constantly seen throughout the building, meeting with junior high students, and helping them transition to Kittatinny. Her warm personality and enthusiasm is contagious. We are very lucky that she is a member of our Kittatinny family.”
