NAMI hosts prevention program

    NAMI Sussex will host a program on Monday, Sept. 16, provided by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to explain how.

    The program, titled “Talk Saves Lives: A Brief Introduction to Suicide Prevention,” will be held at 7 p.m. at Bridgeway, which is located at 93 Stickles Pond Rd. in Newton.

    This presentation will cover research on prevention, and what everyone can do to help fight suicide. Participants will learn the common risk factors, how to spot the warning signs in others, and how to keep themselves, their loved ones, and those in the community safe.
