Assemblymen Parker Space and Hal Wirths this week received an “A+” rating and the endorsement from the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA PVF) as well as the endorsement of the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs PAC (ANJRPC PAC).

The two conservative, second-Amendment enthusiast candidates are running in New Jersey's 24th Legislative District, which encompasses all of Sussex County and parts of Warren and Morris Counties.

Scott Bach, Executive Director of the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs, said "ssemblymen Space and Wirths have repeatedly demonstrated their unwavering support for gun rights through their exemplary voting records and bill sponsorships. Space and Wirths are the strongest team for freedom and the Second Amendment.”

Both Space and Wirths are NRA life members. Space and his family own Space Farms Zoo and Museum in Wantage which includes a large firearms collection and he is an avid hunter. In his first term in the Assembly, Wirths was most vocal in his opposition to Phil Murphy. Both candidates have supported numerous outdoor charity events held by such groups as the Friends of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited, and the Ruffed Grouse Society.

“Legislators who represent the 24th District take defending the Second Amendment seriously,” said Space. “Hal and I appreciate the support of law-abiding gun owners from throughout Sussex, Warren, and Morris Counties.”

Space and Wirths are sponsors of shall-issue concealed carry legislation as well as legislation reforming New Jersey’s licensing and permitting system.
