Sparta. Sparta High School freshmen Tahg Herbison and Patrick Dunn collected more than 100 warm hats, gloves and socks for veterans in need. Sparta VFW Commander Pete Litchfield accepted the donation and delivered the items to the Lyons VA hospital on New Year’s Eve.
