Sparta UNICO presents scholarship awards

Sparta UNICO National recently presented three local high school students with awards for outstanding community service and academic achievement.
Present at the regular monthly meeting were the students and their families who were treated to dinner and an opportunity to learn about UNICO’s motto of “Service Above Self,” promoting the excellent work of this Italian-American organization.
Receiving the awards for 2021 are:
● Hannah Douglas, Sussex County Technical School who will be attending Wilkes University
● Joshua Langley, Kittatinny Regional High School attending Steven’s Institute of Technology,
● Maiah Jude Zaky, Hopatcong High School attending George Washington University.
“We wish them immense success in their lives,” said a statement from UNICO.
