On Wednesday, Nov 6, 2019 Franklin Cub Scout Pack 90 visited Sparta Police Headquarters to learn about how a police station operates and how police officers do their jobs on a daily basis.

The tour of Headquarters was led by Lt. John Lamon for 1st graders (Tiger Den) and 3rd graders (Bear Den), as well as parents. About 35 Cub Scouts and 15 parents and den leaders enjoyed the fun and educational tour. The scouts were interested in police operations and asked "a million questions."

The Cub Scouts received certificates to commemorate their tour. Any group or organization interested in touring Sparta's Police Headquarters, can contact Lt. John Lamon by sending email to jlamon@spartapd.org.
