New nonprofit removes limits on what people achieve in addiction recovery

Hope and Serenity Recovery Community Center is a new 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our agency provides addiction recovery supports and mental wellness support services in Sussex County, N.J.

Our mission is to provide a safe and stigma-free environment for those seeking support on their journey of recovery. We promote our concept of “Recovery Life,” which removes limits and constraints on what people can do and achieve in recovery. We don’t think there is only one, predefined path to recovery. Instead, we enable people to find their own pathway.

Substance misuse, addiction, and mental wellness needs were already at an apex prior to the global pandemic. Sadly, these needs have increased exponentially during the pandemic, and are projected to have long term effects on future generations. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to all recovery opportunities!

On September 15, we are hosting our inaugural benefit at the Windlass restaurant in Sparta, N.J. Please come join us as we celebrate the recovery lifestyle. There will be door prizes, a silent auction, yacht rides, and a four course dinner. There are sponsorships available (both family and corporate), as well as individual tickets.

Tickets can be purchased at our website: hasrcc.org/tickets. If you need assistance or have any questions, feel free to give us a call at: 973-737-8448.
