I do not understand being transgender,
But as a human being must be an amender.
A transgender person does not imperil my life,
So to let live peacefully does not cause me strife.
Now should men to women be allowed to compete?
Is it an unfair discrimination deceit?
But are not women to men an equal spite?
Why not the sorrowful prejudice for this plight?
Such social change a challenge for our nation,
Earlier momentous schisms also a fixation.
Need patience, understanding and compassion,
To resolve different lifestyles not in fashion.
A human being’s “calling” is personal,
To define “soulful” is for the individual.
