Vernon — Guests who take advantage of Mountain Creek's 2006 Season Pass offer can save up to $210 per person, and cash in on exclusive pass-holder privileges, available until November 15. A "4Buy4" season pass features the lowest price of the season, with a package that delivers savings and benefits. The package requires four participants to purchase their season passes together, at $189 each for youth or seniors and $239 each for adults, a savings of up to $840 savings for a family or group of friends. The rates for individual season passes, available at $269 for adults and $219 for youth and seniors, a savings of up to $180, will increase October 1. Winter season pass benefits are even better with the First Tracks program, offering exclusive access to the slopes every Saturday and Sunday between 8-9 a.m., 20 percent off food and sodas in its restaurants; 10 percent off in its retail stores; a one-year subscription to "Skiing" or "Transworld Snowboarding" per household; Stratton Mountain discounts of $10 lift tickets between Nov. 28-Dec. 6, or after March 27, plus $25 mid-week lift tickets and 25 percent off weekend lift ticket rates; and 50 percent off lift tickets at other Intrawest resorts such as Whistler-Blackcomb, Tremblant and Copper Mountain. New benefits include a free weekday ski or snowboard check, and 5 free issues of "Nickelodeon Magazine" per household with kids between 7-14. In the fall, The Appalachian will open to the public, marking another birth of the Village at Mountain Creek. With its opening, season pass holders will be able to extend their visits for weekend or mid-week overnight stays, maximizing their time on the slopes while reducing their time in the car and saving at the gas pump. When winter storms threaten, guests will be able to book a room slopeside, and be the first to hit the fresh powder in the morning. The ski-in/ski-out hotel will boast a private courtyard, a four-season pool and hot tubs, a well-equipped fitness center, and details like stone fireplaces, wood beams and underground parking. Featuring 100 studio one- and two-bedroom units with gas fireplaces, full kitchens or kitchenettes, stunning mountain and valley views, and wireless internet, the mountain resort can be a passholder's home away from home.
