Bed and breakfast cookie tour helps homeless families

Visitors toured six local B&Bs and a tea house munching on cookies and taking home recipes and holiday decorating ideas at the third annual Bed & Breakfast Holiday Cookie Tour, which raised more than $1,000 for the Sussex County Interfaith Hospitality Network, a non-profit organization that provides shelter, meals and support services to local homeless families. Participating inns included Whistling Swan Inn, Stanhope; Wooden Duck Inn, Andover; Tea Hive, Newton; Brick Farm House, Sparta; Alpine Haus, Vernon; Glenwood B&B, Glenwood; and Apple Valley Inn, Glenwood.
