Best-selling author and television host to appear for Jewish Community Ski Day
Vernon Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, host of the national TV show “Shalom in the Home” on TLC, will join guests on the slopes during Jewish Community Ski Day on Jan. 7. Shmuley was named by Talkers Magazine as one of the hundred most important radio hosts in America. He is an international best-selling author of 17 books and an acclaimed, syndicated columnist who in 2005 won the American Jewish Press Association’s highest award for excellence in commentary. His twice-weekly columns appear in the Jerusalem Post, the New York Sun, WorldNetDaily.com, Insight Magazine, and Beliefnet. In 2001, Jewsweek.com placed Shmuley at number 17 on their annual list of the 50 most influential Jews in America. The “America’s Rabbi” has achieved perhaps his most sustained and visible public exposure as the host of The Learning Channel’s “Shalom in the Home,” a reality TV series in which the New Jersey-based rabbi visits families across the country to help them work through problems in their domestic life. The rabbi will be signing autographs at Mountain Creek from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. Groups of 15 or more can save over 50% on lift tickets, rentals and lessons during the Community Ski Day.
