— Billy Hector wants to celebrate the holiday season in a big way. And so, on Dec. 16 he is bringing his Big Band to the Stanhope House, with a Horn Extravaganza to toot!
The Billy Hector Band will add a three piece horn section, The Midnite Horns, to its usual power trio configuration along with keyboards, B-3 and vocalist Suzan Elle. The funktified energy onstage will surely be high and mighty.
The Stanhope House is located at 45 Main Street, Stanhope.
The Midnite Horns featuring Tom LaBella (Jon Bon Jovi ) on saxophone, Steve Jankowski (Nile Rodgers) on trumpet and John Martin (Darlene Love) on baritone sax will be in the house along with Dave Nunez ( Gary US Bonds) on keyboards and former band mate Suzan Elle on vocals to augment Hector's patented raucous sound.
Hector is a multiple award winning guitarist and songwriter who has been performing for 40 years. During his career Hector has worked with music legends such as Hubert Sumlin, Joe Louis Walker and Sonny Landreth. The band recently performed at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. for the “Leadbelly at 125” concert along with Robert Plant, Allison Krauss and others. His last CD, “Old School Thang” received regular rotation on Triple A radio station WXPN and he is currently at work on a new release expected to drop in Spring 2018.
