NEWTON-In observance of Bula Restaurant's Summer Customer Appreciation activities, on weekday evenings, Tuesday through Thursday, customers may become part of a weekly appreciation gift give-away with the purchase of an entrée. Bula will present an acoustic guitar autographed by James Taylor on June 20 to a customer who has patronized their restaurant during the above period and the winner will be notified by phone that day and need not be present. Additional give-aways will be announced shortly. At the end of the summer, a lucky customer, from all those who have participated in Bula's Summer Customer Appreciation activities, will be presented with two tickets for Broadway's smash hit, "Spamalot." The lucky winners will be posted on Bula's web site, www.bularestaurant.com. Chef/owner, Bradley Boyle, has introduced a new lunch menu with some lighter summer fare and some new exciting items on the dinner menu, including soft shell crabs, straight from the Maryland coast. Bula's Restaurant is located at 134 Spring St., just east of the square in downtown Newton. It accepts major credit cards, is wheelchair accessible and invites you to bring your own booze. Reservations are suggested on weekends. Call 973-579-7338.
