Buskin and Batteau will appear at Music at the Mission with special guest Loretta Hagen on Saturday, May 21 at 8 p.m. After a 13-year hiatus, the duo is back on the road again. They have just put the finishing touches on their new CD ”Red Shoes and Golden Hearts,” released May 1. The Washington Post called them ”an irresistible amalgam of melodic, sensual pop, folkie grit and killer wit.” As professional jingle writers David Buskin and Robin Batteau’s voices and tunes have been heard in almost every American household, including “the heartbeat of America,” living “in a Burger King Town” and climbing “all aboard Amtrak.” To learn more, visit: www.BuskinandBatteau.com.
