Chamber music at Great Gorge

Vernon — A live chamber music concert will be held Sunday, Nov. 4, at 4 p.m., in St. Francis de Sales Church, Route 517, Vernon Artists David Kim and Lisa-Beth Lambert perform on violin, Rachel Wu on viola, Richard Harlow on cello and Elizabeth Hainen on harp. The program features Camille Saint-Saens’ Fantasie Op. 124 for Violin and Harp; Gabriel Pierne’s Impromptu-Caprice for Harp; Fritz Kreisler’s Recitativo and Scherzo Op. 6 for Unaccompanied Violin; Arnold Bax’s Quintet for Strings and Harp; and Franz Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden” Quartet. Tickets purchased in advance cost $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, $5 for age 12 and under. Tickets will cost more at the door and those who want to buy tickets at the door are asked to arrive 30 minutes ahead.
