Christie retiring to dedicate her time to her garden and grandchildren

BYRAM-Beverly Christie is retiring after 40 years of dedicated service at Saint Clare's Hospital main campus in Denville. Christie was born in West Hartford, CT, and earned a degree from the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing in Hartford, CT. She started at Saint Clare's in the Intensive Care Unit, where she was a nurse to Karen Ann Quinlan. She spent 25 years in the Operating Room and her last 5 years as manager of Minor Surgery. Christie resides in the Forest West section of Byram Township with her husband Ray. Her passion for gardening will surely provide much enjoyment in her retirement. She has three daughters, three stepdaughters and 12 grandchildren which will also keep her very busy in her new role.
