Church to host Halloween parade

Sparta -Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, located at 246 Woodport Road (Route 181), in Sparta will host a Halloween Party from 1 to 3 p.m. Sat. Oct. 29. The event will feature games, crafts, and a costume parade. Snacks and refreshments provided. Organizers are asking participants to bring canned goods to be donated to the Trinity soup kitchen.
