Cifelli wins karaoke contest

SPARTA — Local resident Thomas Cifelli recently won first place at a karaoke contest. Cifelli, who sings under the name Tommy Tunes, competed in the contest sponsored by Anthony Ziccardi Studios and held at Krogh's Restaurant & Brew Pub over three nights during the months of July and August. The contest was run by local DJ Rikki Starr Ziccardi Studios provided the first place prize. Second place and third place winners received prizes provided by Kroghs. Sheila Kelly of Roxbury took second place while third place went to Sparta Mail Handler Julianne Carson. According to DJ Starr, he and Krogh's are planning on running more karaoke contests in the near future and are looking for sponsors.
