Come rock with the Kootz

Ringwood — Rock and roll rules when the Kootz jams at the New Jersey Botanical Garden on Friday, June 24. They cover the spectrum from Don McLean to the Who, from Otis Redding and Jackson Browne to the Grateful Dead, Bruce Springsteen and the Rolling Stones. This band puts together many of your favorite rock songs with their own distinctive sound, and they’re often joined by guest artists who kick it up another notch. (www.thekootz.com). Light refreshments are available for purchase or you can bring your own, but no alcohol or pets. If the weather is bad, the concerts are moved indoors into the Carriage House Visitor Center.
