SUSSEX — Sporting cut off jean shorts, cowboy hats, boots and tied up plaid tops, women from around the area competed in the Daisy Duke look-a-like competition as part of the New Jersey's Hazzard County Fair, hosted by the Franklin Sussex Auto Mall in Sussex on Saturday, Aug. 18.
John Richard Schneider, best known for his portrayal of "Bo Duke" in the 1980s American television series "The Dukes of Hazzard" also made an appearance and helped judge the competition.
Kristen Shulman of Hamburg placed first in the competition and won a 50" flat screen TV.
Youngsters also competed in the Little Daisy Duke look-a-like contest, where Larissa McKay won first place and received a $100 gift card.
